Taylor Mckie

Calling Miami her base and home, Taylor Mckie (b.1999) is a photographer specializing in capturing the elegance and beauty of black culture and experiences through the many facets in which it exists. In the search of finding the medium which captured what Mckie envisioned, photography stood out with the ability to immortalize moments. After receiving her first camera in 2017, she was determined to convey her surroundings through an intimate lens. With the vibrant lifestyle of Miami, inspiration of the Caribbean flair that is apparent in South Florida, has also found its way into the portraits by Mckie. Over the last five years, Mckies photos has evolved from amateur photo shoots with close friends and family to being featured in i-D and on display at SXSW.
